Maude Entertainment is founded and curated by Benje and Ashley Daneman. The two met as graduate students at the Manhattan School of Music twenty years ago. The Danemans have been performing, recording, and touring together ever since, most notably with Kanola Band, their New Orleans-inspired brass and jazz ensemble.
Years of leading Kanola meant perfecting every small detail that goes into separating an ordinary performance from a fantastic one: the music, of course, but also the relationships, the logistics, and the communication. Contracting their own band for private events grew, naturally, into booking and curating a wider community of artists.
They bring that same artistry, energy, and care to every kind of celebration - because they understand, intimately, the powerful effect music has on how people feel. Maude is the name they gave that work.
